The RVS-DN heavy-duty soft starter is an advanced three-phase motor soft starter designed for controlled starting and stopping of standard squirrel cage induction motors in demanding industrial applications. It supports both three-phase three-wire and six-wire motor configurations and is engineered for environments where reliable industrial motor starting and protection are critical.
The RVS-DN provides an effective method of reducing starting current and torque during low-voltage motor startup. By gradually increasing the voltage supplied to the motor, the soft starter enables smooth acceleration while minimizing mechanical stress on connected equipment and reducing electrical disturbances on the power network. This controlled starting process improves equipment reliability and extends the service life of motors, pumps, compressors, and other driven systems.
This industrial soft starter gradually increases the voltage applied to the motor during startup. The controlled voltage ramp allows the motor to accelerate smoothly while drawing only the current required for motor starting.
