Process

The companies of the Solcon-IGEL group have a long track record of incorporating safety for applications that require controlled braking. As an example, the SI-DCB (Solbrake DC) Injection Brake was incorporated into a debarker control system for the wood processing industry. For this application, Solcon also provided, a heavy-duty soft starter (the SI-DN), together with the DC Injection Brake in order to provide reliable braking control. Solcon-IGEL’s SI-DCB is known around the globe as the go-to dc injection brake on heavy duty industrial applications because it helps our customers meet and exceed safety requirements.
