Project Overview
Solcon-IGEL, in cooperation with its local partner in Vietnam, successfully completed the installation of a double SST multi-start system consisting of two SST medium voltage soft starters (10 kV, 600 A) and a Medium Voltage Control Panel (MVCP).
The project demonstrated the combined strengths of both partners, integrating local application expertise with advanced soft-starter technology to deliver a reliable motor starting solution.
A key advantage of the system was the ability to operate without the need for a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), simplifying system architecture while maintaining reliable motor control and protection.
Project Requirements
The system was designed to support a wide motor power range for an industrial installation operating four compressors running in parallel.
